Northern Tennessee (May 2023)

We set out westward to visit the Land Between Lakes recreation area, a large, double-laked structure I'd seen many times flying in from Saudi over the States. It was a little harder to appreciate from the ground, as the central road went up the middle of the titular land, and was heavily forested. We did stop for a hike at Honker Lake (no geese encountered) where we got in a decent hike, although the day was rather humid. From there, we drove around the lakes to the north and by the dams, before returning to Nashville in the evening. We went to a seafood restaurant called Moby Dickies for a very late dinner, and had a good meal there (I had the titular sandwich, which was blackened grouper)
