Nevada Rockhounding (September 2025)

Chad Niayesh, Anna Ambrose and I went rockhounding on BLM land out in northeastern Nevada, following a guidebook.  We found some fossils in shale right outside of Elko where we were based, but also some Azurite and Opalized wood up near Contact and Jackpot.
