Northern Tennessee (May 2023)

On the 5th day, we switched cities, departing Nashville before ending the night in Knoxville. On the drive over, we stopped at the Falls Creek Falls State Park, which was home to several spectacular falls. We didn't do much hiking here, as Jen's foot was bothering her and most of the fall viewpoints were easily reachable by car. On the way out, we came across a major accident that had closed the north-south road down the side of the Cumberland plateau, and had a take a significant detour. Arriving in Knoxville (Now Eastern Time, after a time zone change) we went to dinner at Chesapeake's seafood restaurant, before settling in for the night.
